Post: New real estate agent - gain more knowledge & not feel dumb

Hello, good morning,

I wanted to get some advice and insights from other agents on methods and tactics that they use to gain knowledge about real estate so that, when they are conversing with people in general, they know what they’re talking about. My issue is, I’m a new part-time agent and I shy away from real estate conversations because I feel I don’t know enough, which makes me feel dumb. Any advice is most appreciated!

Thank you,

Michael Nijhawan

@Dan Maciejewski

Thank you very much Dan, for the response and the insights! Much appreciated! I see your point, and I’ll perhaps use that strategy in developing my business cards.

Hello fellow real estate agent members, I’m a relatively new real estate agent and I only wanna focus on listings. With that being said, I wanted to know if it’s appropriate for me to only print business cards that specify that I’m a listing agent?

Thanks, Michael Nijhawan

Hello members, I am a part-time new real estate agent, relatively new real estate agent for the past year, but I haven’t done any transactions. I want to focus on investors as a niche area as a part-time real estate agent. Can you please provide any good tips for a newbie, that’s trying to get into the niche investor real estate agent business. Thank you for all of your suggestions in advance.

Hello, as a new real estate agent, I am looking to get my first listing and I’m wondering if I incentive the transaction, is that a good idea/place to start?

For example, if I offer like $1K back.

I am trying to get at least one transaction done before 2019 is over.

Thank you for your help!

Hello, I’m a new real estate agent. I’m currently with a brokerage, but I don’t feel like they’re offering me good team support. Can anyone please recommend this struggling agent with a good brokerage in Northern Virginia that lets you join and be a part of a team to learn more and get involved more? Thank you for your recommendations!
