@Gary Carino Hello and welcome to BP. San Francisco is Beautiful I loved it there when I was stationed there. The best advise would be to educate yourself as much as possible and try to network (as you are here) with like minded individuals and most IMPORTANTLY take action. Don't just push this aside and not pursue RE. You will thank yourself later. The areas you mentioned above there are a lot of investors in these areas and for a reason so that should tell you something positive. I too am searching at expanding to OH, at the present am only in FL which is also good. Good luck

@Andrea Ives Hi and good on ya!! That's great that you have an objective and a goal. Oh, how I wish I would have started out young like you. You will find all the help you need here on BP whether that be from books, webinars, podcast, or networking it's all here. You may even consider investing out of town to try (networking of course) to build up some cash flow for other properties maybe in your area. Good luck to ya!

@Jared Aquino Hi and welcome to BP. I absolutely LOVE San Diego. I was stationed there in the Navy for about 9 years at NAS North Island on Coronado lsland. This is also where I learned to surf and boy do I miss it. Well you will learn everything you need about real estate investing here on BP. Hey @Bill Gray we have someone here named @Brandon Turner that is the Co-Host of the Podcast here on BP. If I'm not mistaken he too was in the banking industry before getting tired of it and it now doing this and investing and is very successful. Listen to some of his podcast and you will see what I mean. This guy is AWESOME and has really made a dent in his real estate pursuance. Hope this is motivational and helpful at the same time. I am in the same boat looking at becoming Financially Free with Real Estate. It WILL happen, it's just a matter of time. Good luck
