Paul Falbo, on the right, you'll notice a 'jump to forum' in bold. Underneath that, you'll see different topics. If you click on Real Estate Investing, more options will appear. There, you should see 'commercial real estate'. Click to open that tab and you should be where you want to be.

You'll be just fine while learning the ropes. We're typically very welcoming and helpful to new members who are actively trying to learn how to navigate and participate. We will quickly pounce on scammers and spammers though which you don't seem to be just from your initial posts.

You'll want to check out a few links below to help you:

In response to constant emails, I fixed that by opting out of receiving emails. When I log in here, I'll have the notifications inform me.

Only issue I have is the quoted text causing repeated alerts.

Anyway of reducing the amount of emails I get for keywords for the same thread.

What's happening is every time someone is quoting a recent comment in a thread that has the specific keyword, I'm getting a new email. The person replying to the comment he or she has quoted has not typed the keyword though. For instance: http://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/311/topics/80657-my-current-plan-to-investing-first-time?page=1#p483277

If you'll notice, the OP is quoted several times and in that quote, the keyword 'Phoenix'. I'm getting multiple emails for the same thread.

edit: I know you can opt out of the email notifications but I'd like to still get them, just not as many I guess.

I don't have a clue how many are coming. Unfortunately, I'm also not sure I'm going to make it. My mother is on her way to the hospital. I'm heading there after taking the kids to school to find out more.

If I can't make it, I'll do my best to make sure the doors are open though.

2nd Tuesday of each month. Justin S. previously mentioned he'd be willing to teach a class. I hope its not to late of a reminder for him.

Regardless, I'll be there as always.

Chris Gabriel, thanks for mentioning me. I was just coming in to congratulate you and noticed my name.

The reason I provide my email in my signature and tell people not to be shy is because of posts just like yours. We're all here to help. I'm always willing to provide what I can, when I can.

With that said, I'd like to thank you for showing appreciation to those in that list. Its part of what makes our community and the site as a whole, great.

Congrats to you sir! I'm glad to see Joshua Dorkin keeping the quality high, even when it comes to moderators. You've got some great guys on the team now.

Nice!

Apparently, one of the requirements to be a moderator is to be excessively good looking? Good think Sean Connery isn't a member. We'd all be out of luck.
