My best advise is to go out and network at lot!!! By networking you will meet a lot of real estate professionals, get an understanding of what they do and build good genuine connections. Second, connect with a local agent and go out and see some houses so you understand what homes are worth! Lastly, read a lot of books, listen to podcast and educate yourself. Best of luck and happy to help with any construction related matters!

Bring a water proofing company to do an inspection. Also, chat with the agent to understand exactly what was the issue and what they did to "fix it"
Also, is the house located in a flood zone?
