Varinder Kumar if it not permitted you cant listed at 2/3.
It not hard to get a permit. If you get a nice inspector he will check quality of work and decide if you need to open any walls.
Head to building dept. say i purchase a house that has a unpermitted bathroom. I would like a consultation inspection on what needs yo be done to bring it up to code.

If you do a home owner move in eviction. Is it true you have to live there for 3 years? Also they also stopped the passing the capitalization cost to the renters?

10 days for drawing and it could take abother 1 to 3 weeks to get the drawings approved.

Ask the owner if you can pay for the work and do it.
If fixing the problem will raise your home. Value then go that route.
Second, code violate
If all the windows are board up the neighbor is in violation of health and safety code for light and ventilation.
also if it a bedroom boarding the window blocks the egress access for fire.
Call the fire dept and complain.

1. Why is it bad to accept cash? You can give them a recipe right? Besides having cash on you and getting robbed.
2. Why do some cities require rental property inspection? Is this requires? How do they even know if you are renting it out? What happens if you don't do this?
3. Do you need a business license? To rent out?
4. Example, I am house hacking a sfr, i rent out two rooms. Do i need a rental inspection? Pro and cons?
5. How do i get my rental income to show on the property for appraisal? Is it by what i declare in my tax return?
6. If i buy a house and has a unpermitted granny unit. Can i rent it out? Can i use the income for the property for appraisals if i pay taxes? Pro cons?
7. The eviction process only works if you you have a rental agreement and how does it end up on the tenant record? Court order?
Do they sell per unit or you buy the whole business!
How much do you make per unit?
