We plan to have a couple of case studies to review and discuss.  Feel free to bring a current or past deal that you would like to compare or get feedback on.  It can be just a listing or an analysis using the BP calculator, your own spreadsheet, or a napkin.

Hi Chanda,

Welcome to BP, it is truly a great community. I am a broker in the Rockford area and look forward to working with you in the future. Do have a managing broker in mind to hang your license? I have been very happy with the training and support at Keller Williams Realy Signature.

Absolutely,  and my first two purchases were still big lessons.  Look for a property in the B to C+ class.  If you go to high (A class), you won't make much cash flow and risk being under water in a downturn.  Too low (D class) and you will be dealing with the drama and turnover of professional tenants.  Ask me how I know? No, don't, it still hurts.

Hi Jason,

Welcome to BP!  This is a great place to learn about all kinds of real estate investing.  I would highly recommend checking out the education section, especially the guides and webinars or podcasts depending on what is easier for you.

There are several locals here on BP that would be happy to help.
