I'm a Vegas Native and Investor.  I'll tell you all right now that Vegas has more going for it than just the Raiders coming.  Vegas has been a sellers decent sellers market since the beginning of 2012 and we have been nowhere close to a balance market.  Properties under $300k have a month or less of inventory AND through a  "good" wholesaler you can still find value deals with some equity (discount prices, not retail).  Beyond the Raiders and other sport teams you have the UNLV Medical School with it's first class this semester and construction of the 220,000 sf building to start soon (which will revitalize the old neighborhood where it's located).  Tech companies like Switch expanding expanding operation and the population is still growing at almost 2% a year....mainly driven by natural growth as migration has been slowing down.  We also have a few new resorts either under construction or scheduled to break ground soon....our original bread & butter focus in the economy.  Theses are some of the considerations of Vegas's growth in values right now.
