This is exactly why I’m a big proponent of getting a knowledgeable property manager in your market. That way you can invest to scale and you aren’t trading your time for money.

Yes, water and septic issues can and do arise in cases like this. However, you’ll find that most investors don’t care and cram the house full of guests. The worst problem I have is a property where the well is almost appearing to run dry. I do have water truck in on a regular basis and need to mitigate the issues with the well soon.

Good tips!  We do similar things with signage, but try not to go over the top having them have to read while on vacation.
