@Tammy Lazere ,

Yes, a lot of the homes can take a big renovation. I am not into Dexter-Linwood at all for investing. You can buy homes cheap there but sometimes cheap isn't better.

@Alex Liccione ,

I do not know, that's the trick behind it. I see them spreading more Eastside than I thought but I hope they spread as much as they can bring in more jobs and increase property values. Then you would see a multifamily demand. As far as the land, it is hard to say what's next for Downtown Detroit and how far they are willing to spread.

@Alex Liccione ,

I have not done any land deals, but the closer to Downtown Detroit I think would be a good place to start. Some land is cheap in Detroit but that because it is in really bad areas. I do not know how to help lol but I am sure if your close to downtown might be start, downtown is coming fast!

@Matthew Gascoine

You are making a smart move for wanting to invest in Detroit. 1. Cash flow 2. Low prices.

My rental is providing really good cash flow, not much appreciation for the area is below average but not bad.

I have investor friendly agents, property managers, and if you need some advice on the area before you buy message me can help.
