Welcome @Phillip Lumpkin

I'm an active agent and investor in the very far west suburbs (the exburbs) of Chicago near Northern Illinois University. Feel free to hit me up with any questions.

Post: What are your thoughts on the eXp brokerage?

I don't know exactly why they left, but they weren't with the company long enough to experience any kind of slow down.

Personally, because of the technology they offer, my business has exploded this year.

I've never had clients comment on my brokerage and if it were me buying or selling, I don't care about the brokerage. I care about how good the agent is.

Some people recruit but many don't. I think it's becoming easier to recruit as people see the stock price move up and the streamlining of processes are getting better every day.

My thoughts on eXp...

I explored it and moved over as quickly as possible. Yes, there are some growing pains due to the incredible growth, but those go away pretty quickly because of the outstanding leadership.

I'm not sure about turnover rates. This business in general has very high turnover rates no matter what the brokerage.

I've only heard of one team locally that made the move and then jumped back. My understanding of them was that they expected everything to be perfect...no brokerage is perfect. I can't speak to other teams across the country. I'm sure it's not a fit for everybody, but some of the biggest teams in the country have made the switch and never looked back.
