I do not know what I’m doing wrong
It does not budge nothing is happening whole handle is moving. I tried to upload the video but I guess I can load only pics.

If you look down the hole where the handle was is another phillips head screw. Unscrewed that and sometimes you have to give it a couple taps with a hammer to loose it up. Then the entire metal thing should come off. Then you have to un screw the retaining nut on the top. Might have to tap it a couple times with hammer and it will pull right out and reassemble.

Yes, I did remove the screw and tried to remove the base but it did not come out
