Saying that a sale is "As Is" is quite a disclosure in
and of itself, don't you think?

Be sure to read Ryan's post here:

http://forums.biggerpockets.com/viewtopic.php?t=5896

Note how he has planned out for when times get tough.
He already has his eye on who his probable investors
will be at that time. He has thought it through.

Then make sure your written plan looks a lot like his
post so that others who read it (investors for example)
will come away saying, "I know exactly what he intends
to do good times and bad".

Welcome, Welcome!

This is indeed a great site, and there is indeed a lot
to read and learn.

From your moniker I take it that you do residential
mortgages? If so, there will be plenty of contacts you
can make around here.

Here's to all of our prosperity...

uniquedesinez,

In what way did he ask for your credit card? I just
registered (a day late but hopefully not a dollar short)
and he didn't ask for credit card information.

Hello John,

Welcome to our site! Sounds like you're ready to go
with deals and experience. We're glad to have
experienced professionals amongst us.

We can all learn from each other.

Hello "Organized" and welcome! (Great moniker!)

I see people are already responding to you...that's
what's so great about this place.

If you still have difficulty finding the product you seek,
post again in the loan forum and maybe even more
professionals will come out of the woodwork.

Best Wishes.

Hello Alex,

You may be another California investor, but California
is a big place and there is plenty of room on this board
for one more. We need all we can get, just for
Southern California alone!

Glad you're here.

Hello and welcome!

I took a quick peek at your website and it looks real
professional. I'm going to sign up and take the course
and see how it is. But from the looks of it, it looks to
be an interesting resource for the members here.

I'm glad you found us!

Hello Barnabus! Welcome to the forum.

There are two schools of thought about having a
license, and I think you can guess what they are!

It doesn't hurt to have a license, so if you are
so inclined, and have done it before, it might serve
you better in your specific situation.

But if you are asking because you dread the paperwork
and hassles, I think there are plenty on this board
who will say that they get on just fine without one.

Hello David and welcome!

As Monty Python once said: "And now for something
completely different!"

I guess you have a different perspective to offer here
to those seeking to get started in the land lord biz.

I'm really glad you're here, and hope you will post
often, sharing your insights and wisdom.
