It depends on what kind of auction it is? If it is an auction sponsored by a private auction company.....maybe. If it is an online auction.... no.

My thoughts.... churches have to be registered as non-profit organization. Gov't and IRS are very strict on the rules. So I don't think your scheme or thoughts would work. So be wary of it..........

This is how they do it. A waiting game! Just follow their rules and wait out. You will find plenty of complaints on Hubzu here in BP comments. Check it out.

If you had listened closely to what his criteria is. Not just any vacant lots. It has to be priced right and has to be at least $500K to be built. The homes in the surrounding areas has to be at least value $500K to make this deal work.  That's the gist I got from him. I don't think anyone will be able to send qualified leads to be paid. That's my opinion.... Just skip Jerry Norton.

I found numbers thru zabasearch.com, 411.com etc.,  but none of them are active.

Everyone else says do a skip trace, but I'm skeptical of wasting money on same report that I got.

Anyone else wants to chime in?????

Check the BP Network where it says "find members" and go from there.

Did driving for dollars for vacant properties.

Did research and go the addresses off assessor websites and used Zabasearch.com, 411.com etc. to find the phone #'s and called all of them. It turns out none of the phone #'s are active and all of them are disconnected. Preferred not to send out yellow letters as all of them are vacant and waste of time and money. As there is a law that the post office will not give forwardable addresses if requested on the envelope.

Not sure what to do next? Please only those that have done and have success with finding vacant owners please respond kindly. Much appreciated....thanks.

Better look at this again.... Zillow shows 2 units, 6 bedrooms, not 3 units and 9 bedrooms as advertised........... Just check it again..........

Post: Advice on turning a home into section 8 or for veterans

With Section 8... you will get guarantee rent from the gov't. directly into your account for one year. Still check references and income and get deposit from everybody who wants to rent your unit. Still have to check references and income from Veterans... no guarantee rent.
