The community is great. 2 months after being on this site I felt comfortable enough to start making offers on rental properties. The help came fast and furious style. I was blown away by the amount of help I received and the speed in which I received it.

@Tom Pignatello I have over $100k and I have just started putting in offers for rental properties. That was not by design. I would have liked to start sooner but my FULL+ time J.O.B. was getting in the way. I have made the time to get it done now. I saw the potential for return on my money in real estate compared to every other investment I have been in and I could not wait any longer. Time is money and money likes to compound when it is invested properly. If I told you that I have an investment that will NET you 15% per year and all you needed was to put in $20,000 would you wait until you had $100k to get into the investment? I would hope that your answer is no.

@Bruce Scannell What is your management plan? Do you have someone you trust there or have you hired a property management company to do it for you?

@Megan T. I suddenly feel very inadequate and am questioning whether I qualify to even be on this site now. JK, welcome to BP.

I love the picture of the small wood logs stacked up under the beam holding it in place. It's like an amazing transformation flip you would see on a show. The house was a beautiful disaster. Now it's just beautiful.
