I like the sound of relocating permanently to the South Pacific. I think it's an under appreciated place to go. I hear Tonga is beautiful, but painfully underdeveloped. Perhaps somewhere more like Fiji? How can you monetize your home? I hear so much about AirBnb it hurts, but is it worthwhile to consider?

Even though my surname is Seed, I think your capital is better spent on Sod. Easier installation, no fuss no muss. Cheers

@Jay Hinrichs I am very interested in the Incubator/Co-working space scene, what are some of the unique requirements for the hosts of these venues? What sort of tenancy agreement is worked out with the startups in question, and how does it relate to their business licences? I have acquired a great source of seed capital for an upcoming project, but I would just like to ensure I'm not going in blind.

To retire in your own private villa in a tropical island, attached to a small resort of your own making. Sounds amazing, anyone up for a JV?

I don't believe this will cover the necessary seed capital requirements for a new investment. You should work on repairing and clearing out your damaged investment before moving on to another project. Otherwise, you will find yourself with a hopeless fix years down the road when everyone else in the neighbourhood's investments are now in good condition.

I am sure @Kyle McCorkel said it best, those are great margins for all your needs on a given project. I prefer to put down 25%, or 5% more than the recommended down payment, as I have the seed capital available and like to distinguish myself from other investors.

@Account Closed I have seen this too, in which case the golf course itself doesn't need to be as profitable since it can piggyback off the resort development. At this point, I am really not sold on the idea, I think this Seed's capital is being spent elsewhere!

i am certainly not a millenial by any standards, and I love the seed capital phrasing, (Though I admit I'm a bit bias towards it!) I think industry jargon is important in creating a sense of identity among members of a given industry. Yes, I agree many startups are not well thought out, but many of the failures do get re-rolled into successful ideas after a few tries to the contrary.

Lately, I have been seeing a lot of personal finance fintech apps that round app every purchase and transaction, and deposit the remainder for you in a special separate balance. I would recommend this as something to consider when trying to grow your available seed capital.

I would suggest trying credit card financing so long as you are confident you can move the investment quickly, and do not have the credit score to acquire capital financing through conventional means. Good luck with your seed capital search!
