Hello everyone!!!

This weeks meetup will be all about investing in Multifamily properties!! We have a special guest speaker from the Valkere Investment Group talking about buy and hold investing. Valkere Investment Group specializes in acquisitions, operations, and holding of multifamily assets. He will be talking about the 3 rules of Buy and Hold investing, Passive Vs Active investing, Picking your market, and how to force appreciation to actually make money on your investments. You definitely don’t want to miss this opportunity.

@Natasha Schoenegger Come on out! You will learn a ton just having conversations with other people already in the industry. We have people in all different areas of the real estate world. Basically it is a really relaxed meetup. Someone will speak for a few minutes about a project they are working on or about something that they can share with the group. But mostly it's just hanging out with other people and getting to have personal conversations. I have learned a ton from others in the group as well as made contacts that have been able to do business with me and us both make money.

This month's meetup will be at 475 E Indiana Avenue in Southern Pines on August 13th at 6:30 pm. We just (FINALLY) got sheet rock on at this flip where we have held the meetup previously. Come on out to check out the progress and start to see how it’s taking shape. We have gone way over timeline and budget on this one, so we will talk about some of the things we have learned so far in the process.

This is such a great opportunity to broaden your network and learn from other investors all while having a great time! Drinks and food are provided. Donations are welcome as always but not required.

Our next REIA meetup is ONLY A WEEK AWAY!!!! Come on out to 74 Pine Lake Drive in Whispering Pines. Brandon Purdeu is tackling a major mold problem with a down to the stud remodel on Pine Lake. He'll be discussing how to negotiate with your hard money lender to make the renovation go smoothly and training your sub contractors to work inside your hard money model! Additionally some tips and trick on navigating permitting with Whispering Pines and Moore County.
