Hi All,

I've been considering starting a Long Beach, Los Al, Seal Beach meet up. The question is are there 5-10 people that will attend on a regular basis?

Let me know what you think and if you would come if it was on a weekday evening.

Thank @John Thedford

Any suggestions on where to go to get leads or find people that want hard money loans. I'm building a team that has a lawyer on it to keep us legally in check and someone with decades of experience to guide me. My biggest issue at the moment is finding people that want to borrow money.

Best,

Jeb

Hi All,

I'm considering becoming a private/hard money lender. Where do you think a good place to start would be. Any suggestions for books, blog posts or how to find deals?

Thanks for your help in advance.

@Evan C. Davies Do you by any chance have any leads on apartments or packages of properties?

@Evan C. Davies I accepted your friend request, you should be able to see my contact info now, if not I'm happy to send it over. I'm not sure how busy I am next week while I'm in Indy but I'd be happy to try to meet up if possible. Text or email me. Additionally I'm happy to talk on the phone the following week or any other time.

Hi @Evan C. Davies

Welcome to BP. I invest in Indy and would be happy to chat anytime except next week because I'll be in Indy visiting some apartments with a Marcus & Millichap broker.

Hit me up and we can talk if you'd like.

Hi @Heidi Neilson and welcome. Good choice on listening to the podcasts. May I suggest coming to the BP MeetUp in Santa Monica the 2nd Saturday of the month at UnUrban Cafe.

On a personal not I’m not a huge fan of turnkey because of the lack of exit strategies. Just something to keep in mind.

Good luck and if you have any questions about investing out of state let me know, that’s all I do.

@Scott McGurk Sorry I don't have any recommendations for PM's in Indy. I'm looking for apartments as well and there's a almost zero available and what is is over priced at the moment.

Scott, are u local to Indy? Are you looking anywhere in particular?

@Jeff Greenberg thanks for the mention.

Hope you both have a great holiday weekend.
