Would someone from Montgomery be willing to give me a couple minutes of time and tell me a little about the area right near the  intersection of the 65 and 85? Specifically right near Mobile Highway an Airbase Blvd.

I'm looking at an apartment building there and need some input. 

Will 2/1's really go for over $550/month? Are the schools any good? Do I need a bullet proof vest to visit? Would you drink the water? Stuff like that...

Are there any investors or brokers that would be willing to give me 10 minutes to talk about the area around East 71st street between Broadway and Harvard? 

I'm looking at a 4plex and the wholesaler says it's a C but I want to ask someone who is at arms reach of the deal.

I have an opportunity to buy a 4plex way under market and there's serious potential for appreciation but I don't have the $115k to make the purchase. Are there people on BP really getting private loans from other members? If so where would be the best place to post about this?

Hi @Keegan Burkholder, welcome to BP. I live in Long Beach also. I go to the BP meet up in Santa Monica every month, let me know if you'd want to carpool or meet up. 

It wasn't so much a criteria but more a lot of little things. 

1. Very communicative. If I leave a message he calls me back usually within an hour or so. 

2. He let's us use our CC at the hardware store.

3. Sends regular updates. He has an Android phone, though it will work with an iPhone as well. He puts all the update pics into a Google Photo's album which alerts me when he puts them in there. 

4. He admitted a mistake and dealt with it versus blaming me and trying to weasel his way out of it. 

There are more reasons but this is all I can think of right now.

Hi All,

What do you locals think of the area just west of the White River on Oliver Ave? I'm curious specifically on Oliver between Marion Ave. and Holly Ave. Is this a C or D area? Does anybody know any actual info about what's going to happen to the old Ford stamping plant, specifically on the South east portion of it?
